Live Testing
What is Live Testing?
Live Testing is a browser-based capability within Testinium Suite that allows users to remotely access and interact with mobile devices in real time. It is designed for manual and exploratory testing , enabling testers, developers, and product teams to validate mobile applications without requiring physical access to the device.
Device List
The Device List is the main entry point for Live Testing. It allows users to browse the devices available in their environment, check their current state, apply filters, mark frequently used devices as favorites, and launch an interactive testing session.
Live Testing Session
The Live Testing Session is the main workspace for remotely interacting with a mobile device in real time. After launching an available device from the Device List , the device is streamed directly to the browser.
Device History
The Device History page provides a record of past Live Testing sessions and helps users review how devices have been used over time. Each session is listed together with the device, user, session timestamps, and total duration.
Apps
The Mobile Applications page allows users to upload and manage mobile application packages before starting a Live Testing session. Applications stored here can be installed directly during a Live Testing session, so testers do not need to upload the same build from their local computer every time they connect to a device.
Settings
The Settings page allows users to manage Live Testing preferences and view information about the current environment. The Interface Language setting controls the language used across the Live Testing interface.
