Settings
The Settings page allows users to manage Live Testing preferences and view information about the current environment.
User Preferences
Interface Language
The Interface Language setting controls the language used across the Live Testing interface.
Select the preferred language from the dropdown menu to update the interface accordingly.
This setting is applied at the user level and does not affect other users in the company.
Company Security
Disable Public Devices
The Disable Public Devices option allows a company to restrict access to Testinium's shared Public Device pool.
When enabled:
- Public Devices are hidden from users within the company.
- Users can only access devices available through their own Private or Dedicated device infrastructure.
- Public Devices cannot be selected or launched through Live Testing.
When disabled, eligible users can access both Public and Private devices according to their environment configuration.
This option can be useful for organizations that want testing activities to remain limited to their own dedicated device infrastructure.
System Information
The System Information section provides basic information about the currently active Live Testing environment.
Environment
Displays the deployment environment currently being used.
For example:
- Cloud – Live Testing is running through Testinium's cloud environment.
- Other deployment types may be displayed depending on the customer's infrastructure configuration.
Active Company
Displays the company that is currently active in the session.
This is particularly useful for users who have access to more than one company or environment, as Live Testing device access and settings are applied according to the currently selected company.
Company-Level and User-Level Settings
Some settings apply only to the individual user, while others affect the wider company environment.
- Interface Language is a user preference.
- Public Device access is a company-level security setting.
- System Information is informational and reflects the currently active environment and company.
Changes to company-level settings may affect which devices are visible and available to other users within the same company.
